Thread, Spider and Reticular Veins

These form a spectrum of veins of varying sizes that affect predominantly the face (Rosacea) and the legs. Veinwave® uses a high frequency wave to produce thermo-coagulation of these small (less than 0.3mm) veins. This is a low risk procedure with minimum discomfort producing immediate results with virtually no side effects and without the need for stockings. Larger and deeper reticular veins can be dealt with by micro-sclerotherapy. This will be performed by our Consultant Vascular surgeons in the out-patient department using the latest techniques.
